Minnesota Dairy Health Continuing Education

Dairy Cows in a line

The U of M CVM Ruminant Group is focusing their continuing education efforts in 2022 on joint offerings with the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association and The Lameness in Ruminants Conference planning committee.

The Lameness in Ruminants Conference draws an audience of researchers, veterinarians, dairy producers, hoof trimmers, students and industry representatives from around the world. In 2022, the group will gather under the theme Embracing Excellence in Mobility and Wellbeing.  The five-day conference will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn the most current research and practices that help to enhance large and small ruminant hoof health. Additionally, attendees can gain additional education and knowledge through pre- and post-conference workshops.

The Conference will be held August 1-5, 2022 in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA, bringing together global large and small ruminant experts in hoof health, production systems, animal behavior and hoof care.  Previous conferences have attracted up to 300 international delegates working in the ruminant industry. See conference site for more information.
